For the pure fact that I will never be a great musician like Paul, John, George or Ringo. Twice now in a week i’ve seen x-factor and Glee do a cover. The group on x-factor hadn’t even heard of this song, nor the band The Beatles and claimed that no one of our generation had even heard of them. I may be the only one obsessed to realise that, when people do a cover for the Beatles, they are basically setting themself up for a whole lot of judgement and embarressment. Because honestly, no one will ever be able to make a song by The Beatles sound better by The Beatles.
